 Really nice piece. good use of colors. Interesting on how you are creating/thinking in a different direction from your usual works. Shows that you have talent when you can do more than one thing well
 This piece [and the other alien one] has a kinda surreal, different look about them. [ i was trying not to use the word "alien" ] Very nice, looking forward to seeing more of your work.-- It's not who you were, it's who you are... Thank you very much! Critiques
I think the hair needs improvement. Not really the hair that is over her midsection, but the "border" of her hair on her head is very harsh and has qualities that do not match the lighting set up in the scene.
Continuing on the subject of lighting, her hands and face are also a bit off. The light is coming from the far right of the image, yet she is lit from the front. It keeps her from blending with the background.
Really though the hair thing is the biggest to me. It just leaps out at me, especially the upper left section and the big over the frame itself.
I love what is done with the frame contents though. The tree has a wonderful texture and depth to it, and the "vortex" thingie does as well.
